Oliver was adopted the very day that we got him. He is one BIG
STRONG PYR! He weighed about 135 pounds when we got him as an owner
surrender.
The couple that adopted him are breeders of small dogs and they
desperately needed a pyr to guard their property from Coyotes. We have
a lot of coyotes around here in Milton.
Georgia Pyrenees Rescue is a branch of the National Great Pyrenees
Rescue. Our group is led by a commitee, chaired by Charlie Fisher and
Pegi Black. We rescued about 20 dogs last year, and we placed them in
permanent. good homes. That is our goal,
to place our pyrs in loving homes, where they will live a wonderful
life. We need your help. Take your time deciding which dog is going to
be the perfect one for you. We will make sure that the dog is in good
health before you adopt.
