Juneau and Denali were adopted by a nice couple from East Georgia.
They had about 400 acres of land and hundreds of cattle, goats, sheep
and chickens. These guys made a great team of guard dogs for the
flocks. About 2 months after they adopted them, the 2 guys ran
away and were found about 20 miles away. Luckily, they had been
microchipped.
Georgia Pyrenees Rescue is a branch of the National Great Pyrenees
Rescue. Our group is led by a commitee, chaired by Charlie Fisher and
Pegi Black. We rescued about 20 dogs last year, and we placed them in
permanent. good homes. That is our goal,
to place our pyrs in loving homes, where they will live a wonderful
life. We need your help. Take your time deciding which dog is going to
be the perfect one for you. We will make sure that the dog is in good
health before you adopt.
